NEW! The Shelby Cobra Photos
Sebring 1963 was the first attempt at endurance racing by the Shelby Cobra team. Three cars were entered. This one was driven by rising star sports car driver Dave McDonald and great stock car driver Fireball Roberts. Though it was running in 8th place unfortunately it had to retire when the rear axle oil seal blew.

This model is excellent in all regards. A wonderful quality and quantity of detail is visible throughout this red beauty. For one example, Exoto's clever designers made the rock protector screen removable and replaceable. It is held on by little tabs on the screening that partly wrap around the bumper bars and are easily flexed enough to remove the screen, just in case you prefer the car's appearance without it
